Our Planes

Salmon Air commands a fleet of 14 quality aircraft. We operate a wide variety of planes in order to better fit the needs of our customers. From our Cessna 150 (one of our favorite trainers) to our newly refurbished Piper Chieftains, our planes are meticulously maintained to give you the safest, most comfortable flights possible.

Listed below are pictures of the type of aircraft we own and operate, as well as some information about what each one can do for you.

Piper Chieftains (Two)

Our twin-engine Chieftains hold up to 9 passengers, and is generally only used for paved runways. This is a great city-to-city charter and commuter airplane that can hold cargo and or passengers.

Britten Norman Islanders (Four)

Our twin-engine Islanders are the ideal backcountry workhorse. They carry up to 9 passengers or 1700lbs of cargo. They are used mostly for backcountry flights, though they can obviously fly city-to-city as well. Twin-engine cargo and landing fees and taxes apply.

Cessna 206 (Five)

A perfect compliment to the Islanders, the single engine 206 works well for smaller backcountry loads, or extras that the Islander can't quite fit. It carries up to 5 passengers or 1000 lbs of cargo.

Cessna 210 (Two)

Our single engine 210 can easily fly into the backcountry, but we only fly passengers in this plane- no cargo. It comfortably seats up to 5 passengers.
