| River Trips: Salmon Air offers more frequent flights between Salmon, Boise, Stanley, and McCall during the summer months in order to accommodate Idaho’s tourists. When traveling to Idaho we recommend you schedule your connecting flights to arrive into Boise between 11:00am and 4:00pm. When departing Idaho we suggest scheduling your connecting flights out of Boise after 11:00am. Middle Fork of the Salmon Commercial trips on the Middle Fork of the Salmon generally begin near the town of Stanley and end close to Salmon. Boise to Stanley: $160.00 Main Salmon Commercial trips on the Main Salmon generally begin near the town of Salmon and end close to McCall. Boise to Salmon: $190.00 Private Float Trips: Salmon Air flies passengers and gear loads to backcountry airstrips near the Salmon River.
